Abe Sends Offering Of A Hogtied Okinawa Governor To Yasukuni Shrine

Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has paid his respects to the fallen by offering a bound and gagged Okinawa Governor Takeshi Onaga to Yasukuni Shrine.

The shrine honors those who have died fighting in wars for Japan – some include leaders convicted of war crimes after World War Two.

Abe offered potted plants to the shrine under his name last year for its spring and autumn festivals but this year has gone with a hogtied Okinawan Governor.

During the commemoration of the end of WW2 last year Abe made a cash offering to the shrine.

This year similar amounts of cash were used to coerce the Okinawan Governor to the nation’s capital before Onaga was lured to the Prime Minister’s home basement.
