A fanatical anime lover arrived in Japan this week and found it to be exactly as he had expected.
“It’s pretty much what I thought Japan would be like all along – no surprises here,” said Mark Jenkins.
“Most people have eyes that take up the majority of their face and mammary glands are constantly on the move from the slightest bump or peripheral vibration.”
Japan’s population is made up of approximately 90% schoolgirls and all men carry some sort of weapon, often larger than their own bodies.
Jenkins spent his first night in a mixed gender hot spring and witnessed some guy generate an energy beam from his bare hands.
“Occasionally I see subtitles like, ‘people die if they are killed’, but you can basically understand what they mean by context.”
