A foreigner eating out in central Tokyo last night has ordered yaki salmon, local sources confirmed.
The entire sushi restaurant waited patiently for around ten minutes for the gaijin to request some kind of cooked fish.
“And then it happened,” said 44-year old office worker Jun Yoshida.
“Just as I suspected.”
Local diners were all too aware that the first six orders of raw fish were “just a ruse to get to the cooked stuff”.
“We all know what they really came for,” said Ryoya Ono.
Ono had finished his meal just as the gaijin entered the restaurant but decided to hang around for further confirmation.
“I was going to get some dessert on the way home but that girljin ordering cooked sushi really hit the spot.”
