The Japanese Government has continued its approach of abandonment yesterday announcing the scrapping of its $2 billion stadium design for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics.
The decision came as no surprise with the LDP Government favouring a dumping style approach to other prevalent issues including the constitution and history.
The new policy agenda has been dubbed the ‘Three Arrows of Abandonment’.
“Buy my abandonomics,” Abe announced at the press conference.
However, the scrapping of the stadium design means it will not be ready for the 2019 Rugby World Cup – skeptics have voiced concern that the new arrows of abandonment will be damaging for fans of rugby, and fans of world peace.
