The day of a Yodobashi Camera staff member became slightly brighter this morning after he misinterpreted the grunt of a young male customer as a sign of appreciation of service.
Sources have confirmed, however, that the man’s grunt was completely unrelated to the flawless delivery of customer service.
“It looks as if the man was just clearing his throat and this caused him to lean forward ever so slightly,” said one source.
This forward motion gave the unintended effect of a very tiny bow of gratitude.
The clerk remained blissfully ignorant to what had actually occurred while the customer was equally unaware that his attempt to clear the fluids from his larynx made one Yodobashi staff member a happier man.
