The announcement of a new political party has been overshadowed by the latest developments in schoolgirl skirt liftability studies.

The announcement of a new political party via the merger of existing opposition parties has been overshadowed by the latest developments in understanding the feasibility of schoolgirl skirts being lifted by certain moving objects.

The general policies of the new party, ‘Minshinto’ (or Democratic Innovation Party), are completely unknown to the public but the majority of the population now have a firm grasp of what kinds of things travelling at particular speeds can lift a schoolgirl skirt.

“I now know that I’m wasting my time if I want to run past a schoolgirl to lift up her skirt as we’ve now established that even a professional sprinter can’t even achieve this feat,” said one voter.

Despite the majority of the electorate being unaware that the Minshinto party will be launched on March 27 they are content in the knowledge that a Ferrari travelling at 110 Km/h will lift a schoolgirl’s skirt passing within a distance of around two metres.
