An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.6 has caused widespread panic amongst foreigners living in Japan trying to be the first to post about the tremor online.
“As soon as it hit, I thought this is it, this is the big one – I’m going to be first amongst my group of Facebook friends to post about this online,” said Mary Hunter.
Hunter now has a sixth sense for pending earthquakes fine tuned after years of trying to post online before anyone else.
“There is a slight musty smell in the air and the birds in the tree outside my apartment window start displaying some unusual behaviours,” said Hunter.
Hunter managed to gather over 30 likes on her Facebook post superseding her previous earthquake post record of 21.
“I’m strongly considering donating my likes to disaster victims around Japan,” said Hunter.
