The driver of a right-wing nationalist bus has gradually lowered the speaker volume after the GPS system directed him straight through the heart of Roppongi.

Part-time Uyoku Dantai (Right-wing Group) worker Hiroki Matsumoto was assigned an afternoon shift on Sunday to take a two-hour trip from Tokyo Bay to Kita Ward.

Matsumoto made the executive decision to turn down the volume once observing a foreigner pedestrian ratio of above 50 per cent.

The volume was turned down gradually to avoid a noticeable shift in bus attitude upon entering the gaijin zone.

“It just wasn’t worth it, my 700 yen an hour wage clearly doesn’t cover these kinds of contingencies,” said Matsumoto.

Matsumoto returned the speaker volume to acute levels about two kilometers north of Roppongi Station.
