Seiko Epson Corp. has developed the world’s first robot for the specific purpose of sending faxes.
The ‘Faxbot’ operates by voice activation, slashing the time it takes to send a fax by at least 50 per cent.
Designed with cutting edge technology Faxbot is ideal for offices and homes that just can’t get enough hard copies.
“We expect the majority of Japanese companies and households to take a keen interest in increasing their capacity to create hard copies,” an Epson spokesman announced.
The Faxbot will equip consumers with the means to send out multiple party invite faxes, written letter faxes, and maps for directions faxes.
Epson’s latest invention will also have the capability to connect to mobile devices and send text messages or emails in fax form via simple voice commands.
“I can’t wait to get my own Faxbot, our home is severely lacking in hard copy documents,” said one potential buyer.
