Man Needs Another Shower 15 Seconds After Leaving Apartment

A commuter today required another morning shower almost immediately after stepping out from his air-conditioned Tokyo apartment.

The man in his late thirties sustained a dry body for the time it took to lock his front door but began to feel a layer of wetness on his skin that would linger for the rest of the working day.

The mercury this week in Japan reached above 35 C for an all time record eighth straight day, rendering useless even the best laid out shade laden routes for excessive perspiration prevention.

The man has hinted at thoughts of purchasing a parasol disguised as an umbrella for the remainder of summer – using the parasol while intermittently looking up at the sky to project the possibility of rain.
