Japan’s staunchly pro-nuclear reconstruction minister Masahiro Imamura said Tuesday his anger needs to take responsibility for its own actions.
Imamura’s emotions boiled over during a press conference on Tuesday, furious at nuclear evacuees and journalists who dared to ask an unscripted question querying the minister’s competency.
The minister has accused his emotions of negligence when they should have been embracing their close proximity to nuclear activity.
“I have no control over what my emotions do or don’t do, it’s up to them to autonomously decide on the appropriate course of action,” said Imamura.
Journalists attending the press conference were surprised to be met with so much anger without even a hint of empathy.
