The Abe Administration’s approval rating has dropped below an ordinary everyday pea since security bills have been passed in the Lower House.
An ‘anything is better than Abe’ political atmosphere is developing in Japan with demonstrations against the government becoming a regular occurrence. A new political party, the LDPea, now has a higher approval rating than the governing LDP party.
Sixty per cent of respondents answered that The Pea is “more trustworthy” and “listens to the public more” than current Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
“Prime Minister Abe is my biggest asset – while he stays in power my approval ratings will rise,” The Pea said.
