Rio Olympics officials have formerly apologized to China for “minor errors” in the details of the Chinese national flag.

“It was an easy blunder to make, a slight overlook on our part,” said one Rio Olympics official.

Rio Officials say the mistake was down to a matter of degrees and angles – a mistake that could easily be made by the “untrained eye”.

“The four small pills were placed horizontally when they should have been angled towards the centre of the star.”

The flag makers also admitted that the pills should have been fashioned into the shape of a star.

There were however many people criticizing the Chinese for being overly sensitive to the intricacies of their national flag.

“Don’t you think they are being a little bit anal – I mean star-shaped pills, round-shaped pills, what’s the difference?”
