Members of the ruling LDP party in Japan have condemned the nation’s constitution on Constitution Day for failing to work.

“I don’t give a damn what day it is – it should be working even if it is a public holiday,” said LDP minister Uchijo Seisawaru.

“The economy would be a lot stronger if people had to work 365 days of the working year.”

The Abe administration continues to call for amendments to the constitution so it can start working for those who want to sell weapons.
