A fault line discovered in NHK President Katsuto Momii’s mental reasoning just under the surface of his brain poses no real threat, according to government insiders.
The fault line is affecting Momii’s ability to support investigative journalism and weakening his critical evaluation skills over matters related to government affairs.
Some would argue this raises concerns over the proper functioning of NHK news broadcasting but the facts will be kept secret to protect the citizens from drawing their own conclusions.
“What the people don’t know cant hurt them,” said one government official.
“What’s more dangerous is if we allow the general public to start making their own judgements on important issues.”
