Still unsure if he should close his mouth when pronouncing ‘ん’, Dave Stoker has elected to have a bit each way.
“I’m just gonna leave my mouth slightly open for all ‘ん’ words from now on,” says the 39-year-old translator-cum-English-teacher.
Stoker asked a friend today for a taste of her “pan”, but was corrected for saying it the wrong way.
He then asked his friend if he could have a pretend read of her “shinbun”, but also apparently pronounced that one wrong too.
At press time, local citizens believe Stoker should really stop bothering random strangers in cafes.
