A foreign student studying a kanji for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test has yet to realise that it only has 0.0003% chance of appearing in the exam.
“Yes, I think I can officially say I’m fluent in this kanji now,” says 23-year-old gaijin Ryan Stephenson.
“I’ve copied it out with the correct stroke order at least 3000 times.”
Stephenson will fail the exam tomorrow and receive no feedback.
