A foreign woman inhabiting Tokyo has been asked this week if she is used to Japan yet.
“Nihon mou naremashitaka?” asked local woman Mai Kaikiku.
“Yeah, I was, until you asked me that question again,” thought Jane Roberts.
Roberts says she is fairly accustomed to the fervent sexism embedded throughout society.
“Although I’ll never get over the RoboCop station platform guys.”
“They are just way too keen.”
