A man has turned 8 gaijin-years-old, according to the man himself who tells people of his gaijin age on a regular basis.
“I turned 8-years-a-gaijin this week,” Bill Robertson told yet another person.
Eight gaijin years is said to be the equivalent of 56 years partying in one’s home country.
Robertson is almost old enough now to not get envious of other gaijin or get “jyouzu desune-ed” when speaking in Japanese.
He is even starting to like Japanese TV.
Robertson celebrated his 8th gaijin birthday this week despite really only being in Japan for 7 years and 7 months.
