The Tokyo metropolitan government has designed a head-mounted fax machine.

It will be available for purchase this summer allowing salarymen to leave the office while still being connected to the grid.

The new fax machine, made of rare earths, is worn in the same way as a Japanese traditional straw hat.

The special benefit of this fax machine is that, since both hands are free, it is easier to do things like work while you’re on the move.

“We’ve released the hands-free facsimile machine to show the world we’re still miles ahead in terms of cutting-edge technology,” said Tokyo Governor Yuriko Koike.
