U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters Friday that Japan’s Prime Minister sent him a letter with a “glowing recommendation” for a Nobel Peace Prize.
“It was a tremendous letter – he’s really smart, a terrific guy,” said Trump.
But when questioned about the letter, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said Trump’s announcement was “fake news”.
“I didn’t send him a letter, it was a fax,” Abe told reporters.
“We don’t do letters anymore, that technology is obsolete in Japan – we’ve moved on.”
Trump also cracked the shits about former President Barack Obama receiving a Nobel Peace Prize.
“Why did he get one? If he got one, I want one too. He’s a bad hombre,” he said.
