A foreigner has already forgotten a kanji they had just learnt moments earlier.
“Yep, there it goes, it was in my brain not too long ago,” said 26-year-old foreigner Rohan Patel.
“I just studied it a minute ago.”
Patel started to forget the kanji once he moved on to study another kanji.
“I can remember that it had like a 3-stroke radical on the left hand side,” said Patel.
The fact that Patel could remember the left side of the kanji actually serves no practical significance given there are another 391 kanjis with the same left-side radical.
