The Japanese foreign minister Taro Kono has asked the foreign media to refer to Japanese people by the true meaning of their name kanji.

Kono said his name (河野太郎) should be written as “Fat Son of the Wild River”.

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s (安倍晋三) name was also given as an example, which should be henceforth referred to as “Cheap Multiplication to Proceed Three Times”.

“Abe may also be called “Go Forth Three Times Doubly Cheap”, said Fat Son of the Wild River.

Fat Son of the Wild River also told reporters that they may continue to refer to Finance Minister Taro Aso as “arsehole”.
