A pedestrian has passed away today in Japan after failing to reach the next shady area on the footpath.
The man was found on a virtually shadeless section of path – sprinkled with a few pole shades – stretching about 30 meters.
“Absolutely tragic, if only there was a tall shop placed somewhere along that long stretch of path,” said one witness.
The man was afforded about three meters of shade to rejuvenate before valiantly taking on the long stretch.
“He seemed to gain a little bit of energy each time he passed a bit of pole shade, but in the end that wasn’t enough.”
The otherwise healthy man may have survived if he had listened to the media over the past week telling people to regularly drink water and breath air.
