Japan is starting to get quite nervous that Typhoon Hagibis may be pretty lame like all the other typhoons that have hit Japan in the past 24 months.
“I really hope Typhoon Hagibis is gonna live up to its reputation,” says Japan Meteorology Agency representative Shiro Hiroguchi.
“We’ve really beat it up to be massive, so it better deliver.”
Last year, Typhoon Fujimoto turned out to be a real fizzer.
“It was quite an embarrassment – we said Fujimoto was going to cause major disruptions but in the end it was just a light breeze.”
