Five days before meeting North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, U.S. President Donald Trump has asked Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe if he eats burgers in his home country.
“Do you eat burgers in your country?” Trump asked Abe in front of a large press gallery.
“Of course we eat burgers,” Abe replied, thinking Americans must be a little weird to think they only eat rice.
Trump then turned to Twitter to Tweet about more pressing issues.
“Incredible meeting so far. Winning! Still looking for Dennis Rodman,” Trump tweeted.
Trump’s aids informed the president he was currently meeting with the head of Japan, not North Korea.
Trump was advised against deleting his last Tweet and instead smoothing it over with another one: “Covfefe! Next week is going to be yuuuuuuge!”
