Typhoon Kong-rey is projected to obliterate plans for the long weekend in Japan by making landfall on Saturday morning with winds of up to 120 kph.

This storm comes on the heels of Typhoon Trami, which destroyed last weekend.

Typhoon Kong-rey is currently waiting in the Pacific Ocean for Saturday.

Salarymen across the nation have reportedly told their superiors they are “grateful” they will be able to come into work on Friday and Tuesday.

“Who needs ‘Taiiku No Hi’ when you’ve got Tuesday,” says 71-year-old salaryman Akumu Tsuzuki.
